Are these GMT watches?
No. They have the look of a travel watch, but all four are 3 Hands — hours, minutes, seconds and date. There is no fourth GMT hand, even though the dial carries GMT-style text.
Do they need a battery?
No. The Seiko NH35 is an automatic movement: it winds itself as you wear it. If it stops after a few days off the wrist, give the crown a few turns and set the time.
